90-Day Medication Supply at Retail Pharmacies

 

Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) offered by Colorado Access can fill certain prescriptions from validated prescribers for up to a 90-day supply. This must be done at an in-network pharmacy. To qualify for this benefit, the prescription must be written for a 90-day supply and must not be a controlled substance or specialty medication. Members may need to request that their pharmacy fill for a 90-day supply.

 

Mail Order Prescriptions

 

Colorado Access CHP+ can fill certain prescriptions from validated prescribers for up to a 90-day supply. This must be done at an in-network pharmacy. To qualify for this benefit, the prescription must be written for a 90-day supply and must not be a controlled substance or specialty medication. Members may need to request that their pharmacy fill for a 90-day supply.

Members also have the option to get medications through the mail. This is through Novixus. Novixus is our network mail-order pharmacy. Click here to enroll.

    • To use this benefit, you need a prescription from your doctor for a 90-day supply. This must be submitted to Novixus. There are a few ways to do this:
      • Your doctor e-prescribes to Novixus.
      • Your doctor faxes the prescription to 877-395-4836.
      • Your doctor calls 877-269-1159.
      • You mail the prescription to PO Box 8004, Novi, MI 48376-8004.
    • Certain medications may not be eligible. This includes controlled substances and specialty medications.

Members can get COVID-19 vaccines in office or at an in-network pharmacy.

Please note, Navitus reviews all requests for prescription drugs that require prior authorization, including Synagis, as well as non-formulary exceptions, quantity limit exceptions, and step therapy exceptions. The link to Navitus Health Solutions will take you to a portal that includes the Synagis form. Please make sure to indicate if the patient will receive Synagis in office or will require home health administration. Prescription drugs on the formulary have been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are safe and effective. The formulary is regularly reviewed and updated to reflect current medical standards of drug therapy.
